The apple cider vinegar weight loss diet became popular back in the 1970s, alongside many other fad diets and weight loss scams. When choosing a diet, don't just jump on the bandwagon of the latest popular diet.

The goal of a good weight loss diet should be to improve the long term eating habits. The weight loss diet or weight loss program that does not teach good long-term eating habits cannot solve weight problem.

The only proven safe method of weight loss is to eat a sensible healthy diet with a moderately decreased caloric intake from your norm, and to increase exercise gradually until weight loss results. After the initial weight loss you still need to follow a balanced calorie-controlled diet (that improves your eating habits) and take regular aerobic exercise. The best weight loss diet is one that will help you to eat less, eat healthy and exercise more.

Approach a weight loss realistically. Any weight loss product that claims it can provide quick results is most probably fraudulent. Remember, there are no short cuts to weight loss. A healthy weight loss diet can help you lose one or two pounds each week – not much, but who says weight loss was that easy?

A healthy weight loss diet is the best way to go if you want to lose weight. If you are advised to take weight loss medications or weight loss programs, that don’t mean it should replace healthy meals and exercise. Set goals for yourself and use a weight loss chart to help you monitor your weight.
